Idolum is a one-man band out of Rochester, Minnesota. It is characterized by extreme metal sound, with varying influences from a wide spectrum of music. Though the primary genre is mainly black metal, there is a large amount of variance in each song from beginning to end. Everything from traditional death metal, melodic, progressive, and symphonic black metal, to atmospheric, ambient, and more.
