This album is not intended to create a consistent sound. It is actually a compilation of home-made tracks by a solo artist. It contains more than one sub-category of metal, though overall adheres to a melodic, blackened death metal style. It ventures into pure atmospheric black metal, and at times very extravagant symphonic black metal. The mixing and mastering in each case is slightly altered, so do not expect an entirely unified whole. It is meant to reflect years of continual reshaping and reforming feelings that are poured into artistry. Each song is designed to be enjoyed entirely on its own, without the need of other songs to establish a creative framework or genre context, so to speak. For supportive metal fans this is a must-buy. The artist created the album purely out of love for music and for quick access to curious listeners.

This is my favorite metal album of all time. The only bad thing is that the vocals are somewhat buried in the mix. Otherwise, the record perfectly blends a mix of metal genres with excellent songcraft. A record you'll listen to again and again. The Real Nick House
